Raw material of ethylene and acetic acid is oxidized by oxygen in vapour phase in a fixed bed reactor whose temperature is 160-185℃ and pressure 0.78MPaG in the presence of catalyst loaded with gold and platinum to synthesize vinyl acetate (VAC).
The plant is composed of reaction unit, acetic acid cycle unit, gas purification and cycle unit, product purification unit and water addition unit.
