Antioxidant 1290 is a primary antioxidant for organic polymers, appearing as a white powder. It provides long-term thermal stability during polymer processing, stabilizes viscosity changes, prevents gel formation, and maintains light and heat stability during product storage and end-use without altering the polymer's physical properties.

Antioxidant 1290 is widely used in plastic products such as polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, polyamide, polyurethane, as well as in adhesives, elastomers, and rubbers like EPDM, SBS, and polyolefin blends.
